A claim has been denied and the basis for the denial is disputed.
The parties disagree about the scope of coverage under the policy.
A claim involves a construction or commercial loss with complicated facts.
A dispute has arisen over how a claim was investigated or handled.
What the work involves
Coverage questions are decided on the policy language, the facts of the loss and the applicable Colorado law. The work begins with the policy itself and the claim file, and moves to whatever evidence establishes what actually occurred.
These matters are litigated in both state and federal court, and frequently involve losses that overlap with construction or commercial claims.
